No Reality Show For Blagojevich
The U.S. District judge James Zagel who presides over Blagojevich’s case has decided there will be no reality show for the ex-Ill. Governor. This came after Blagojevich asked to leave the country to film the show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”
“I don’t think this defendant fully understands and I don’t think he could understand … the position he finds himself in,” Zagel said during Tuesday’s the hearing.
The judge wants Blagojevich to understand the repercussions of his actions. He wants him to understand the seriousness of trying to auction off Obama’s old senate seat to the highest bidder.
Blagojevich has been acting as if he’s innocent going on “The View” and “Letterman” and requesting to have “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” move their show to the U.S.
NBC has stated that they refuse to move the show. Besides, it would be kinda ridiculous to have a “survivor” style reality show within the U.S. The point of the show is to put celebrities somewhere they would never actually go themselves with a “survivor” theme.
