Located in Lexington, Kentucky-Keeneland race track is where the Bluegrass stakes are held every year. The even takes place three weeks before the Kentucky Derby. This is the event where people can get a first hand look at the up and coming horses without even having to place any bets.

It is more of a fun social event and more about the horses than it is about the gambling. Opened in 1935, Keeneland also provides superior year-round training facilities and conducts yearly race meetings during the months of April and October.

If you can make it out to Keeneland, I highly recommend going, you will enjoy it thoroughly.
