After Brock Lesnar’s UFC Heavyweight Championship victory he made a post fight apology for some things that he said.

One of them was that he insulted UFC sponsor Bud Light by pointed to it and saying he drinks Coors.

An out of control fire under the Throgs Neck Bridge Friday shut down traffic between Queens and the Bronx, leaving thousands of morning commuters in a bumper-to-bumper nightmare, officials said.

The 5 a.m. blaze began on construction materials and later spread to scaffolding, officials said.

Nearly 140 firefighters have been battling the three-alarm blaze.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to New York Hospital in Queens, fire officials said. There were no injuries to contractors, who were working at the site.

The blaze was still going at noon.

Engineers were at the scene to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the bridge.

Traffic was diverted to the Whitestone and RFK Bridges, according to the MTA.

“There is currently no estimate of when the bridge might reopen,” the agency said early Friday afternoon.

The Throgs Neck Bridge, which stretches from the Bronx to northern Queens, opened in 1961.

It was built to ease congestion on the nearby Whitestone Bridge.

Lebron was in a pickup game when he gets dunked on by Xavier player Jordan Crawford.

The game took place at the Lebron James Skills Academy. You can imagine Crawford’s excitement and Lebron’s embarrassment. A video of this dunk would go viral in a heartbeat – it was a two-handed dunk.

Sadly, there will be no YouTube clip, Lebron talked to a Nike exec at the game and had them confiscate all footage. So now we are all deprived of seeing something we would likely only see once – Lebron getting dunked on by a college player!

On one hand I can kinda understand how Nike and Lebron want to protect Lebron’s image. Looking like a punk in front of your fans doesn’t sell shoes, Gatorade, or Witness shirts. On the other hand maybe Lebron needs to loosen up and not worry about it, it’s just a video. We all know he is great, even Michael Jordan got dunked on.

Emma Watson was welcomed into true stardom now that she has had her first wardrobe malfunction.

Emma Watson appeared at the premiere along with fellow stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter, Lily Collins, Tom Felton, and Evanna Lynch.

The male stars had umbrella-holders to keep them dry as they walked the red carpet- perhaps the female stars could have dress-managers, though walking in tandem would be awkward.

I have been absolutely shocked by the “Raven Symone’s Baby” headlines! I didn’t even know she was pregnant, and it seems there is no actual evidence confirming she was pregnant, and indeed had a baby.

There is this picture of what people are saying is her daughter, Lilianna Pearman, but honestly that could be anyone’s baby. According to several reports, Raven had a little girl with her longtime friend, Jussie Smollet. The pregnancy, if true, was obviously kept under wraps. Little Lilianna was reportedly born in an Atlanta hospital earlier this summer.

Many people are saying that this is nothing but a rumor, however her camp has yet to comment.

Everyone knows about Latoya and Janet Jackson. Most people don’t know that Michael Jackson had a third sister, Rebbie. She is the oldest sister at 59, she was in attendance with the rest of her family during the memorial.

Rebbie (pictured on the right) was born in India in 1950 and has two daughters and a son. She is a singer and so are all her kids.

The Office star Jenna Fischer is engaged to writer Lee Kirk, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

Lee, 37, proposed to Jenna, 35, last week while vacationing in Europe (she was spotted wearing her sparkler while dining at authentic bistro Le Timbre in Paris).

More than 100 firefighters have been fighting a blaze at the Patrick Cudahy Incorporated meatpacking plant for the past ten hours.  Area residents within a one mile radius of the Cudahy, Wisconsin plant have been evacuated to area schools until the fire is contained.

The company, established on the site in 1892, specializes in the manufacture of high quality processed pork products.   They have an annual revenue of $300 million.  William G. Otis has served as company president since 2004.  The company is a division of Virginia based Smithfield Foods, Inc., with yearly revenue of $11 billion, operating in 26 states and 9 countries.

The first 911 call came in at 9:52 p.m. Sunday night.  The call for mutual aid went out to 15 different community fire departments when the magnitude of the blaze became apparent.  In addition, 40 police departments throughout Wisconsin have dispatched assistance to the area.

The 121 year old building, has suffered heavy fire, water and smoke damage.  Employees stood behind the yellow tape, watching the blaze after they learned that the entire plant would be closed for at least the day.  A total of 1,900 employees are on the payroll.

The business was moved to its current 700 acre location south of Milwaukee in 1892.  The family business was started by Patrick Cudahy Jr., an American industrialist and patriarch who died in 1919.

Ironically, a fire on July 5, 2006 prompted the evacuation of 600 workers from the same plant, which triggered the last Dept. of Labor OSHA inspection of the facility – see record of incidents here.

According to Cudahy Police Chief Thomas Poellet, people are urged not to call police dispatchers unless there is a life-threatening emergency.

Steve McNair was found dead alongside his secret mistress Sahel Kazemi. Police are now suspecting a possible murder suicide carried out by Kazemi. McNair was shot four times, two of them were in the head. Police believe Kazemi shot herself in the head after she shot McNair.

This is a horrible tragedy that seems so unnecessary, so confusing, and extremely shocking. McNair was only 36, his lover was just 20. He started dating her after meeting her at a Dave & Busters, the two exchanged number and kept a private affair going for quite some time. Kazemi thought McNair was in Divorce procedding, she thought the two of them were bound to get married soon. The truth was that McNair was not involved in a divorce nor was there word from his wife that they were thinking of getting one.

This whole ordeal came as a shock to McNair’s wife Mechelle.

“She’s blindsided by this,” one source said. “She’s crushed. Her whole world is shattered.”

His best friend and roommate were devastated as well.

The quarterback, renowned in Nashville for his extensive work in the community, rented the condo overlooking the Titans stadium with sporting goods dealer Wayne Neeley, who called McNair’s best friend after seeing the bodies sprawled on a couch.

“It’s a picture I’ll never get out of my head,” a weeping Robert Gaddy told the Daily News. “It’s the most terrible sight I’ve ever seen.”

“This was a great man, a man who’d do anything for you,” said Gaddy, who had been friends with the Heisman finalist since meeting him at Alcorn State.
