The Megamouth Shark wasn’t discovered until 1976. Only 46 specimens have been caught or discovered as of 2009. It is a huge shark, it can grow up to 18 feet long. It is known for its large head and mouth and rubbery lips. It feeds on plankton and feeder fish like it’s larger cousin the whale shark.
