Garth Brooks announces he’s coming out of retirement Thursday. It seems like everyone is coming back from retiring these days. Must be the recession.

After an eight year retirement Brooks is back.

“We’re going to take the retirement roof off over our head, and I already feel taller,” Brooks said Thursday.

Brooks turned 47 this year, the country superstar is looking to get back on stage.

“As for touring, if I can’t eat it, sleep it, breathe it, then it ain’t me,” Brooks said.
